Due to language and cultural differences it makes good sense to work with an agent in this region.
We are lucky to work together with an agent who can cover all of the region.
We are successful in these markets, however some of the countries do not have a well established type approval process.
Over time this situation may well improve.
The process in the African countries varies from reasonably simple to very complicated (up to impossible).
In most cases we do advise to work in cooperation with a local dealer/representative.
At CE-Real we speak, read and write French, which sometimes simplifies the work.
In general the time required to obtain an approval will be very long.
